The head of business development position is responsible for the plan to implement, monitor, control and the operational changes in systems and procedures are effective that would increase revenues and profits. This position is expected to uphold the mission and values established by the organization.
Job Description
- Prepares and maintain necessary documentations of all the area projects.
- Works closely with the Marketing department to tracks new markets and emerging trends, new products and services, proposes and develops new strategic partnerships, and guides long-term objectives to meet business needs and requirements.
- Coordinates and implement plans designed to increase existing business and capture new opportunities.
- Conducts research on new opportunities to ensure resources focus on the best opportunities
- Supports and coordinate with the Marketing, Sales and Public relations activities.
- Assist in preparing business plan and budgets for new projects.
- Assists in the development of training plans and performance improvement plan to address skill set gaps identified in business and sales personnel.
- Have a good understanding of the businesses products or services and be able to give advice.
- Monitors company policies consistently and fairly
- Monitors business development initiatives
Job Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or related field. Master degree holder is a plus.
- Team player, with the ability to work successfully with individuals at all levels of an organization.
