The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing new business opportunities in the system office and modular cabinetry industry. This role involves creating strategic plans to achieve sales targets, building and maintaining client relationships, and expanding the company's market presence. - Market Research and Analysis:
Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities and trends within the system office and modular cabinetry industry.- Analyze competitors and market conditions to inform strategic planning and decision-making.
Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve company sales targets and expand market share.- Identify and prioritize target markets and customer segments.
- Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
Identify potential clients and build a pipeline of business opportunities.- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to secure new business deals.
- Sales and Revenue Growth:
Achieve sales targets and revenue goals by identifying and closing new business deals.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop compelling proposals and presentations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with other departments, such as design, operations, and finance, to ensure seamless project delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration across teams to align business development efforts with company objectives.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and compliance with company policies.
- Oversee the contract execution process and address any issues that may arise.
Prepare regular reports on business development activities, sales performance, and market trends.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on data analysis and market research.
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to build networks and promote the company's offerings.
- Stay current with industry developments and emerging trends to maintain a competitive edge.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales within the system office and modular cabinetry industry.- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
Excellent negotiation and closing skills.- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
Proficiency in software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
In-depth understanding of the system office and modular cabinetry industry.- Knowledge of market research and competitive analysis techniques.
