We are seeking a proactive and strategic Business Development Manager to drive growth across our varied business interests, with a special focus on our entertainment ventures.
The Business Development Manager, will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities across our diverse range of companies and their subsidiaries. The role will involve crafting and executing strategies that cater to different business sectors, with an emphasis on leveraging your passion for movies and entertainment to drive success in this segment.
- Strategic Opportunity Identification:
Research and analyze market trends, industry developments, and competitive landscapes across various sectors represented by our subsidiaries.- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities and partnerships, particularly within the entertainment industry, while also addressing the needs of other business areas.
- Business Development Strategy:
Develop and implement strategic business development plans tailored to the diverse needs of our business portfolio.- Collaborate with subsidiary managers to understand their specific business goals and create targeted strategies that drive growth and profitability.
- Client and Partner Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, industry partners, and stakeholders across different business sectors.- Develop tailored solutions and proposals that align with the unique needs of each subsidiary and its market segment.
- Negotiation and Deal Structuring:
Lead negotiations for contracts, partnerships, and business deals, ensuring favorable terms and alignment with overall business objectives.- Manage the deal closure process and oversee the implementation of agreements across various business units.
Work with marketing teams to develop and execute promotional strategies for our entertainment ventures, as well as other business areas.- Coordinate marketing efforts to ensure alignment with business development goals and maximize impact.
- Performance Tracking and Reporting:
Monitor and analyze the performance of business development activities and initiatives across all subsidiaries.- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on business development progress, outcomes, and strategic recommendations.
- Industry Networking and Representation:
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions, with a focus on entertainment but also addressing other sectors as needed.- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging opportunities, and innovations in both the entertainment field and other relevant industries.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Media Studies, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.- Proven (5) years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing, with a track record of managing diverse business interests.
Strong interest and passion for movies, television, and the entertainment industry.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to think strategically and creatively to drive business growth across various sectors.- Proficiency in CRM software, marketing tools, and performance analytics.
