Job Title: Business Development ManagerThe Business Development Manager will support and facilitate the identification and pursuit of new business opportunities that align with the strategic goals of the transition business groups. This position requires a strong understanding of the power and energy industry, applicable regulations, and the ability to build and maintain robust relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.
Support the business development strategic efforts to identify and cultivate new opportunities of desired size and scope in the power market.- Initiate market research studies, analyze trends in relevant industries, and evaluate findings to develop strategies that create value for the company.
Establish, build, and manage relationships between managers and key executives in customer and prospective customer organizations.
- Actively participate in planning the business development/capture strategy for specific prospects.
Supervise and participate in the preparation and coordination of proposals, including developing and managing proposal win plans and budgets.- Engage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, research institutions, industry partners, and funding organizations, to foster strategic partnerships and ensure successful project implementation.
Prepare and deliver planning and progress reports to the Business Development Director and executive team members, as well as external presentations as required.
- Demonstrate the ability to plan and organize resources within the company to support business development efforts.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably mechanical/chemical or energy).
- Experience: More than 5 years in the oil & gas or power sector, preferably in business development functions; at least 3 years of experience working on power projects.
Strong knowledge of power projects and project management skills.
- Understanding of policy/regulatory frameworks that facilitate successful power project development.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.- Proficiency in developing approval documentation and presentation materials.
