What are we looking for

We are seeking an enthusiastic and hard working individual to join our team. The primary role of Business Development Executive (BDE) will be to drive B2B sales for rooftop solar & ground mount systems, connecting industries with our investment partners. The successful candidate is expected to leverage their existing network, client base and industry knowledge to implement sales strategies for varying business sectors. Where further opportunities are available, the BDE is expected to upsell existing clients for other renewable services that VHALT can offer through its reputable industry partners. The BDE will manage their own sales process with the full support of the management team, targeting large local companies and multinational companies. The successful candidate will receive training to enable the execution of a number of sales strategies across our sales models, responsible for managing clients from pre-feasibility to project execution.

What your Job role will include :

  • Reporting to management team based in Vietnam
  • Generating direct sales leads/opportunities for C&I solar portfolios, focused on MNCs, large local manufacturing companies or utility opportunities
  • Key Partner Management (Investors & EPC's)

- supporting the closing of project opportunities with partners

- supporting setup and negotiation for strategic partnerships in Philippines and SEA

- supporting preparation of commercial offers for clients

- liaison and communication management between prospect client and investment partners

- Key account management during the sales cycle.

  • Managing and updating sales pipeline
  • Support our partners in the negotiation of commercial terms and associated documents between VHALT and client (Supporting contractual discussions may be required time-to-time).
  • Represent and attend conferences, business meetings and industry events on behalf of VHALT. Keep abreast of Industry updates and regulations and attend industry events.
  • Develop new partner relationships to drive sales e.g. with Industrial Parks or Business Groups Development sales collateral.
  • Travel within the Philippines required - Opportunity for travel to other SEA markets will be available upon expansion.

Application Requirements :

Formal Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent majoring Business Development or related field.

Experience, Skills and Knowledge

Minimum 1-3 years of working experience in industrial/ B2B sales/ business development.

Minimum of one (1) years of working experience in the solar energy industry in Philippines is preferred (Experience in other renewable services is desired but not essential)

Target focused high achiever required with proven track record in delivering to sales targets.

Good understanding of Solar Technology and Power Purchase Agreements is preferred

Strong attention to detail and a focus on industry networking

An understating of the regulatory landscape for solar and energy in Philippines is preferred

Experience in drafting, negotiating and Commercial offers

Familiarity in contract engineering and project management is preferred but not essential

Candidate Profile

- Must be fluent English (written and spoken & other languages a plus but not essential)

- Excellent skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint

- Self-starter, a positive team player is a must , with the agility to thrive in a fast changing market.

- Having experience in other aspects of Solar energy projects is highly desirable.
