The Business Development unit is responsible for generating revenue, new business opportunities, and developing the Health of the Survey. The Survey Growth team encompasses strategies for boosting revenue, business expansion on the multi-sector survey program, and partnerships for better profitability.
The Business Development Associate (BDE), as a member of the Business Development team, has a key role in sustaining and growing market surveys through focused engagement and the conversion of non-paying participants into clients.
As a Community Practitioner, the BDE has a deep understanding of the Community Market product and how it can serve as a channel to access the other components of Community.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Generate market or target-specific intelligence related to emerging needs/relevant issues to effectively engage participants in Community Market surveys;
Sustain and grow participation in Community Market surveys and convert clients to drive sales aligned to internal Business Development metrics;
Feed market intelligence and follow engagement processes that involve customer retention initiatives, loyalty programs, and gathering customer feedback to enhance customer satisfaction and drive repeat business;
Explain the value and process of participation to clients/participants to build an informed dialogue and basis for expanded service; Develop and nurture relationships with customer accounts;
Secure participation of target employers and hand off to counterparts in the Survey Operations team in a timely and coordinated manner;
Develop and present tailored solutions that align with the client's needs. Demonstrate the value proposition of the organization's offerings and highlight key benefits and competitive advantages of joining the market study.
