Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Marketing Management, or any business courses.
- Excellent negotiating skills
- Have strong desire to sell attitude and good work ethics
- Preferably have 3-5 years work experience as Sales Associate or other relevant experience
Must have background in selling technology infrastructure
Works closely with customers to determine their needs, answer their questions about your products and recommend the right solutions.
Helps in the execution of a business plan and/or marketing plan (if applicable).
o Conduct market research and/or analysis (if applicable).
Develops and executes a sales plan to achieve or exceed the sales target/quota.
In charge of partner program (as applicable), including but not limited to, looking for and signing up partners, creating and administering the program (e.g. incentives), etc.
o Work with partners and put together bid documents, quotations, etc.
o Negotiate best prices and obtain fit solutions from partners, and obtain correct and complete quotations/orders/etc.
Assists in the end to end sales process for the identified accounts, up to closing of the deal (or delivery/collection in case of software/hardware/solutions).
Generate leads or opportunity. Activities may include, among others,
o Execute on marketing activities including achieving the ROI of said activities.
Marketing activities may include, tapping associations, joint events with partners, etc. o Cold-Calling, networking, emails, etc. o In case of channels or partners,
Create and execute on channel or partner plans.
Manage the partners / channels.
Educate partners, if needed.
o Acquire knowledge of industries/business, client's business, or other information/insights that will aid in solution selling (technology infrastructure, analytics and business intelligence). o Other methods or activities.
Qualify the leads or opportunities.
Activities may include,
o Determining the prospective client's budget.
o Understanding the decision making process.
o Good grasp of the requirements or pain points.
o Other methods or activities.
Assist in developing the specific sales strategy (or tactics as the case may be) for the identified account or opportunity, and execute on said strategy (or tactic) to close the deal.
This may include, among others:
o Provide inputs on approach, services components, or solution being proposed as applicable.
o Help determine the bill of materials.
o Understanding the dynamics of the client in relation to the sales opportunity.
o Account coverage strategy and execution.
o Knowing the competition.
o Others.
Cover and manage accounts or proponents, including but not limited to building relationships. Able to persuade, convince proponents and other decision makers.
Conduct presentations, demonstrations, product deep dives, POC, scoping, solution-ing, and other pre-sales activities if applicable.
Handle the entire sales administration process, including but not limited to, the following activities:
o Bid/quotation/proposal preparations, contract negotiations & closing.
o Reply to Request for Proposals (RFP).
o Lead and manage any proof-of-concept activities if approved. o For software, ensure proper delivery and complete all documents for payment and in satisfaction of the agreement. Prepare reports and report sales activities regularly.
Maintain databank of accounts or other information needed.
Coordinate for supplier accreditation, as applicable.
Work with key personnel of partners, including but not limited to, technology vendors.
Initiate discussions with suppliers (technology vendors) in cases where applicable.
Keep knowledge on products (and other relevant areas) up to date.
Knowledge on products include licensing considerations, pricing, etc.
Understand market dynamics and customer dynamics and profile.
Other tasks and assignments that may be given or assigned to you.
