The Business Continuity Management (BCM) Officer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining Aboitiz Equity Ventures (AEV) comprehensive BCM program. This role ensures that AEV is equipped to respond to disruptions in business operations by facilitating effective continuity planning, incident management, training, and regular audits. He/she will also play a crucial role in aligning business continuity plans across the organization to industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

What You Will Do:
BUSINESS CONTINUITY MANAGEMENT GOVERNANCE
- Develops, implements, and maintains a sustainable BCM Program. Ensures continuity of critical business functions through regular review, updating, and development of BCM policies, guidelines, procedures, and plans.
- Facilitates planning, coordinating, testing, and maintenance of new and existing Group-wide BCPs.
- During incidents, provides guidance to the AEV Corporate Center and, if needed, the SBUs/BUs with the identification, management, and implementation of appropriate Business Continuity Plans.
- Acts as a subject matter expert for BCM related activities.
- Responsible for managing, coordinating BCM Audit and Assurance activities.
GROUP-WIDE INCIDENT MONITORING
- As the Incident Secretariat, assume incident management responsibilities from business continuity response to recovery.
BUSINESS CONTINUITY MANAGEMENT CAPABILITY BUILDING
- Drives internal awareness and understanding through various training, and presentations to risk professionals and team members.
- Keeps abreast of industry best practices in business continuity and trends and provides advisory services on these.
BUSINESS CONTINUITY MANAGEMENT BUSINESS PARTNERING
- Assist and support newly acquired/start-up business units/projects in running and incorporating business continuity programs and considerations.
- Regular strategic / coordination meetings with internal key stakeholders, functional groups within the organization, and external BCM experts / advisors.
What We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Risk Management, or related fields.
- Preferably with Professional certifications or trainings (Business Continuity Management System ISO 22301 Training or Equivalent Crisis Management or Risk Management ISO 31000 Training or Equivalent)
- At least 3-5 years of experience in BCM, risk management, or disaster recovery.
- Proven experience in managing cross-functional teams during incidents, conducting risk assessments, and implementing business continuity plans.
- Good communication and stakeholder management abilities to liaise with senior leaders, risk professionals, and external partners.
