This role works directly with global customers such as investment banks, consulting firms, law firms, and various members of the financial community in providing high quality custom research and analyses. It will require extensive use of a wide range of both proprietary and third-party resources to achieve this goal, including internal applications like Refinitiv Workspace, Eikon, SDC Platinum, Datastream, Datascope, Lipper for Investment Management, QADirect, and other Refinitiv products. Consistent collaboration across Refinitiv is necessary such as partnering with global Sales & Account Management to diversify and grow the On Demand customer base and Proposition teams to expand the On Demand service offerings. The role's responsibilities include:
Deliver Customer Satisfaction
Generate analytical reports such as, but not limited to, shareholder analytics, roadshow profiles, and deals analytics to assist in the origination and execution phases of equity and fixed income deals.
Create and develop quantitative institutional behavior models for corporate finance groups.
Work closely with both recurring and one-off customers while identifying the data needed as well as providing the synthesized analytical reports.
Deliver all customer orders within the agreed-upon deadlines or the group's SLA, whichever comes first while continually updating customers on progress status.
Interact with customers proactively and professionally to drive up levels of customer satisfaction and revenue generated.
Support Revenue & Retention
Assist or lead in creating new accounts as well as invoicing orders done by the team.
Identify & take action on presented growth opportunities in partnership with On Demand Proposition
Knowledge Building
Keep abreast of new or upcoming rules, regulations, document types, financial terms, etc. related to the SEC and the financial markets.
Continue learning & development on soft skills, products, content, and new releases.
Collaboratively work in conjunction with other Refinitiv business units to optimize services.
REQUIREMENTS
At least 2 years work experience in the financial industry
Bachelor's degree - preferably in Business Management, Finance, or Economics
Understanding of company financials and knowledge of the financial markets
Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task on simultaneous projects
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Willing to work in US hours, weekends, and holidays
OPTIONAL
Knowledge of Refinitiv products and service offerings
Financial industry certification such as CFA or FIA
Post-graduate degree such as MBA
Proficiency with VBA, .NET, SQL or other programming languages
