Business and Operations Specialist
Spring Forward Family Centre is seeking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional to fill the role of Business and Operations Specialist . The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of excellence in managing business operations, employee performance, Excel proficiency and policy/procedure development with the help of AI.
Responsibilities:
Excel Proficiency:
Develop, utilize and manage intricate workflows within the company using excel spreadsheets
Improve company efficiency by 20% through the development of excel-based workflows and automations
Troubleshoot and fix all errors in excel
Train and support team members in leveraging Excel for their respective tasks.
Policy and Procedure Development:
Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of company policies and procedures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process optimization and efficiency enhancement.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Operational Efficiency:
Identify and implement operational best practices to streamline workflows and enhance overall efficiency.
Analyze business processes, identify bottlenecks, and propose solutions for improvement.
Work closely with department heads to align operational strategies with overall business objectives.
Team Leadership and Collaboration:
Provide leadership and guidance to a team of professionals, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Collaborate with various team members to ensure seamless communication and coordination of operational activities.
Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the team's skills and knowledge.
Manage team member growth and performance within the company.
Risk Management:
Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential operational risks.
Monitor and assess the effectiveness of risk mitigation measures, adjusting strategies as needed.
Communication and Reporting:
Prepare and present regular reports to senior management, highlighting key performance metrics and operational insights.
Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of policies, procedures, and operational expectations.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
Proven experience 2-5 years in business operations management, with a focus on Excel proficiency and policy/procedure development.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create complex formulas, pivot tables, and macros.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
Demonstrated success in driving operational efficiency and process improvement.
