Job Description:
1. Leads data mining and provides analysis of Nielsen RTA and Home panel as strategic input to the
identification of growth opportunities
2. Drives efficiency of business reporting needs
Integrates internal and external data and provides timely and accurate monthly reports
Prepares and presents strategic analysis, findings and recommendations for the business and
respective brands as input to Sales Business Reviews, Category Reviews, Country Plan and Integrated
Commercial Planning.
3. Spearheads brand, consumer and shopper studies
Identifies research needs and evaluates appropriate methodologies
Aids in substantiating product and communication claims
Conducts pre- and post-ad communication study
Conducts commercial test of new product proposals
Identifies market opportunities
4. Drives NPD opportunity mapping and post NPD performance and evaluation
Synthes market opportunities and brand opportunities to help identify white spaces for NPD
development
Conducts post NPD performance analysis using internal and external data in tandem with brand
managers
Qualifications:
Significant and proven experience (3-5 years) with both qualitative and quantitative research, Brand
Development/Research Agency background (1-2 years)is preferred
Ability to design new processes to improve the quality of business reporting and analytics
Ability to analyze data and translate them to clear brand recommendations
With solid background in market research and able to mount customized studies
Ability to negotiate research cost without comprising the objectives of the study
Commercial understanding of brand and operational business issues is needed

Strong project management and priority setting skills
Excellent communication skills both written and oral is needed, good presentation skills
Able to work under high pressure, able to adapt to a dynamic set-up and have a self-initiative mindset

Able to command respect of external agency partners despite the need to haggle project cost and lead time
