Job Description
O&B is looking for Business Analysts to join our growing consulting group!
As a Business Analyst at O&B, you will work with senior Management Consultants, Engineers, and Software Testers to identify and implement potential solutions for a specific client problem or challenge. Together, you will help clients make lasting improvements to their performance and realize their most strategic technical goals.
This is a hybrid position: We value Agile principles such as co-location for high-quality collaboration. Sometimes we need to visit client sites. As a key collaborator in our team, you need to be willing and enthusiastic about in-person work (in Metro Manila). Our HQ is in Legazpi Village, Makati.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with business stakeholders to understand, prioritize, and document problems, risks, and opportunities, particularly within fintech environments, via workshop facilitation, individual interviews, and various written activities as provided for by the IIBA Business Analysis Competency Framework.
- Collaborate with team members to create appropriate solutions that are compliant with financial regulations and meet stringent security standards.
- Document business requirements, solution requirements, and project plans with an emphasis on financial impacts and ROI analysis.
- Support the Project Manager and lead Management Consultant(s) on an engagement in producing detailed documentation, wireframes, clickable prototypes, and Agile requirements (e.g., Epics, User Stories, Customer Journey Maps, Story Maps).
- Support the Project Manager and lead Management Consultant(s) with day-to-day Project Management tasks, including leading daily standup meetings, and helping facilitate planning and retrospective Scrum ceremonies.
- Other roles and responsibilities may be assigned as necessary to support the engagement.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Right now we are looking for Business Analysts with
- 3+ years experience working in any role the financial sector, or directly with enterprise-level software engineering teams.
- This role requires some on-site work, mostly in Makati and surrounding areas. We expect you to come into our office in Legazpi Village at least once per week.
- Undergraduate degree or master's degree, preferably in a Business-related discipline. Computer Science graduates are also highly regarded.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and create an inclusive environment with people at all levels of an organization.
- Capability to drive an independent workstream in the context of a broader team project.
- Comfort with ambiguous, ever-changing situations.
- Ability to break down and solve problems through quantitative thinking and analysis
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, in English and local office language(s).
- Any existing certifications as below will be very highly regarded.
