We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Business Analyst to document and outline our internal product focused on ingesting and normalizing data from various Multiple Listing Services (MLSs). The Business Analyst will report to the Senior Product Manager. As part of the Product team, you are responsible for creating technical documentation, gathering and documenting functional business requirements, process designs, user interface mock-ups and defining use cases.
You will be a conduit between product and our engineering team. You'll work with SME's to understand the needs and desires, and you'll have the technical skills to translate requirements into executable work the development team can implement. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficient and effective management of our technical processes.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Gather requirements from internal subject matter experts
Document business rules and use cases
Collaborate to define segmentation of scope to ensure design requirements and technical specifications are outlined
Prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements
You will bridge the gap between what we need from a product perspective and what we need to accomplish technically
Serve as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on product goals and progress
Assist with identifying and solving design/flow flaws to increase usability
Be able to communicate the business value of product capabilities and act as a product champion
Provide content for the development of all product documentation
Present on topics including product walk-throughs
Monitor deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects
Document and communicate project status
Track and Report key metrics to drive future product developments
Implement best practices in data management and ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations
QualificationsQualifications:
3-5 years experience in Business Analysis or related fields (QA/QC)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Proficiency in REST API, GraphQL, and PostgreSQL Database preferred
Experience with JIRA preferred
Familiarity with integrating third-party data sources and SSO Authentication
Expertise in technical documentation and translating business needs into requirements
Proficiency in gathering, analyzing, and aligning requirements with objectives
Skilled in simplifying technical concepts
Strong grasp of Agile methodology, particularly SCRUM
Ability to deliver high-quality work in fast-paced environments
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Basic project management skills with Agile methodology familiarity
Collaborative approach to teamwork and stakeholder management
