Within the ING Global KYC, we are looking for a Business Analyst (BA) for the Transaction Monitoring (TM) Optimization area. In that role, you will be part of a Strategy Design and Risk squad and involved in Global TM Optimization activities.
What we are looking for:
- A minimum of 4+ years experience working as Business Analyst in global financial services industry with demonstrable success in defining methodologies and processes, preferably with large global financial institutions.
- Prior experience in AML/CTF, Non-payments AML (such as Trade based ML), Correspondent Banking AML (preferred).
- Hands on experience in threshold setting and optimization, risk scoring, entity resolution (added advantage) approaches.
- Experience in writing and maintaining procedure or process specific documents in a clear, concise manner.
- Ability to work independently or under minimal supervision.
- Must have eyes for details and accuracy in the delivery outcome.
- Strong stakeholder management skills or previous experience across different areas.
- Prior exposure in understanding business requirement, analyze key solution and propose suitable outcome.
- Good to have: understanding of key regulations (such as EU AML Directives, BSA related in-country regulations), recommendations from global institutions (such as FATF, Wolfsburg and Basel); and global / regional intelligence sharing initiatives and their respective effects on the operational landscape of KYC including the interaction with the 2nd line,
- Experience in understanding and interpreting management reports and dashboards, in the context of TM Optimisation.
Required skillset:
- Mandatory AML TM Model, Methodologies, and process improvement experience.
- Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skill.
- An interpersonal and multi-tasking skills.
- Exposure to advance MS office suite.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.

- AML Certification (ACAMS, ICA),
- Strong educational qualifications (e.g., Engineering or Masters in Statistics/Mathematics/Economics or any other equivalent degrees).
- Accreditation for project management such as Agile, PMP.
Your responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining TMO Methodologies and related process documents.
- Act as a team player by coordinating and supporting colleagues in different streams and provide relevant backup.
- Perform ad hoc analysis of data to support the decisions in the process related changes and for Management reporting, with 100% accuracy and within given timelines.
- Arrange, navigate, and document various working group discussions through proactive participation.
