About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and motivated
Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing business needs, identifying areas for improvement, and helping design solutions that enhance business processes and performance. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, document business processes, and ensure successful implementation of solutions across various business functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirements Gathering And Analysis
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, goals, and objectives
- Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather and document detailed business requirements
- Analyze business processes to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and opportunities for improvement
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications for IT teams or vendors
Process Improvement
- Analyze and recommend improvements to existing business processes, systems, and workflows
- Develop and maintain business process documentation and process flow diagrams
- Work with business stakeholders to implement process changes and measure the impact on business operations
Stakeholder Management
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors
- Ensure clear and timely communication of project status, risks, and issues
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business and technical stakeholders
Solution Design and Implementation
- Support the design and implementation of business solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure that the technical solutions meet business requirements
- Assist in testing new systems, processes, or technologies, ensuring they meet business needs
- Support the change management process by helping stakeholders adapt to new systems or processes
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Analyze business data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform decision-making
- Develop and deliver regular reports on business performance, KPIs, and project outcomes
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders
Project Support and Coordination
- Assist in project planning, monitoring progress, and tracking deliverables
- Support project teams in ensuring business requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle
- Contribute to risk management efforts by identifying potential issues and providing solutions
Requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
- Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role
- Proven experience in gathering and documenting business requirements, process improvement, and solution implementation
- Familiarity with business analysis tools and methodologies (e.g., SWOT analysis, BPMN, UML)
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL)
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas to non-technical audiences
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Certifications (preferred):
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
- Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP)
