• Summary of the Role:

The Business Analyst and Data Visualization Specialist translate business needs into data-driven insights by developing data analysis plans and communicating the results through visualizations. As a key member of the Data Analytics Practice, the Business Analyst and Data Visualization Specialist will be expected to collaborate in optimizing the use of data analytics technologies and methodologies for engagements in the following areas:

• Internal Audit and Risk Consulting

Compliance and Regulatory Consulting

• Process Quality Management

Transactions Advisory

• Digital Trust Services

Digital Transformation

• Audit

Taxation

The Business Analyst and Data Visualization Specialist will be working alongside the other members of the Data Analytics Practice comprised of data analysts, business analysts, data visualization specialists, and data engineers in understanding the needs of the stakeholders, translating it into data analytics solutions, assisting in data processing and data analysis where necessary, and communicating the results of the analysis through visualizations.

• Primary Responsibilities:

Responsible for understanding the needs of business stakeholders and translating those needs into data-driven insights.

• Works with the Solutions & Design Lead to develop data analysis plans, and coordinates with the Data Engineer to prepare data for analysis.

Understands business processes, pain points, and challenges translation into data analysis techniques, and communicates the results of analysis through data visualization tools.

• Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Business, or related field.

• Foundational knowledge of data analytics application in the field of advisory, audit, and taxation.

Competent in business process understanding, business intelligence, and data visualization.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
