As a Brand Manager, you will manage the performance of assigned brands through the development of strategic plans and effective execution. You will also manage the competency development of subordinates by providing a work environment conducive to work excellence through ongoing coaching, counseling, and feedback.
Major Responsibilities:
Brand Strategy and Execution
- Develops strategic plans for the growth and profitability of assigned brands.
- Creates and/or reviews brand plans with the Senior Brand Manager to ensure alignment with objectives and business targets, financials, and production capability.
- Creates and finalizes marketing/demand forecast for assigned brands, integrating analyses and evaluation of brand performance, including competitive landscape and insights from shoppers and consumers.
- Manages and evaluates the execution of marketing plans and brand performance of existing products and new SKU's.
- Participates in the development of the innovation pipeline for brands with the Innovations team.
- Works with Corporate Marketing units to execute integrated marketing communication plans for assigned brands.
- Co-creates brand directions with Portfolio Management while ensuring compliance to branding guidelines.
- Prepares budget, conducts spend analysis, and recommends reallocation of resources for the approval of the Senior Brand Manager.
People Management
- Works with HR Business Partners and Corporate Marketing Capability in executing business-critical People & Culture programs to attract, retain, and develop talents.
Qualifications
- Graduate of Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or any related course
- With at least 3 years of solid marketing experience gained from an FMCG company or a similar industry
- At least 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience is preferred
- Willing to be based in Ortigas
