Branch Cashier receives payment for services or products sold by the shop and plays a key role in maintaining or creating customer satisfaction for the business transaction.- Duties & Responsibilities:
- Greets customers at the cashier window in a pleasant and professional manner.
Computes customer bills.
- Receives cash, checks and credit card payments from customers; records amount received.
Makes change and issues receipts to customers.- Provides refunds or credit memorandums to customers for returned merchandise or as directed by managers.
Handles customer complaints about their billing, when necessary, refers dissatisfied customers to the appropriate individuals for resolution.
- Reconciles cash drawer daily.
Qualifications:
- With at least 1 year experience as a Cashier, preferably in an Automotive shop
Preferably with a Bachelor's degree or at least College level- Ability to calculate sales and change quickly
Accountability and accuracy in reconciling sales receipts
- Oriented toward serving others and helping customers
Customer-service skills- Ability to stand for long periods of time
Excellent verbal communication
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, stressful environment
Attention to detail- Knowledge of point-of-sale systems
Training (during probationary period) - will be in the main branch in Quezon City (Quezon Avenue)
