The Senior Sales Trainer/Sales Supervisor is responsible for designing, delivering, and managing high-impact sales training programs aimed at elevating the skills and performance of sales teams. This role involves creating and executing a curriculum that addresses various aspects of sales, including effective communication, consultative selling, product knowledge, and customer relationship management. The Senior Sales Trainer/Sales Training Supervisor collaborates closely with leadership to align training initiatives with business goals and to enhance/drive sales productivity across the organization.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Design and Develop Training Programs
Create comprehensive sales training programs that cover product knowledge, selling techniques, customer relationship management, and industry trends.
Develop training materials such as presentations, manuals, and e-learning content tailored to various learning styles.
2.Deliver Training Sessions
Conduct in-person and virtual training sessions, workshops, and seminars to equip sales representatives with practical skills and tools.
Lead interactive exercises like role-playing, simulations, and case studies to reinforce learning and encourage team collaboration.
3.Evaluate Sales Team Performance
Assess individual and team performance through observations, sales data, and feedback to identify strengths and areas for improvement.
Use evaluation metrics to track training effectiveness, adjusting programs to maximize results.
4.Coaching and Mentorship
Provide mentoring to support the ongoing development of sales associates, offering personalized feedback to help them overcome challenges and reach performance goals.
Mentor junior trainers and serve as a resource for guidance, helping to develop their skills and competencies.
5.Collaborate with Sales Leadership
Partner with leadership to align training programs with company goals and sales strategies.
Regularly communicate with leadership about training outcomes, team progress, and potential adjustments to training plans.
6.Stay Current with Industry Trends
Research the latest sales techniques, industry developments, and competitor insights to keep training content relevant and competitive.
Incorporate current best practices and tools into training programs to enhance team knowledge and skills.
7.Develop and Update Training Materials
Continuously update training content to reflect changes in products, services, or market conditions.
Ensure all training materials are easily accessible, clear, and up to date for the sales team.
8.Conduct Assessments and Reporting
Evaluate training impact through assessments, surveys, and feedback from participants and stakeholders.
Report on training effectiveness and team progress to leadership, using insights to refine training strategies.
9.Foster a Positive Learning Environment
Encourage a culture of learning and collaboration, motivating the sales team to embrace continuous improvement.
Create a supportive environment where team members feel comfortable participating, sharing ideas, and asking questions.
10.Support Onboarding of New Sales Hires
Assist in the onboarding process of new sales representatives, ensuring they have a strong foundation in company values, product knowledge, and sales processes.
Provide ongoing support to new hires to facilitate a smooth transition into their roles and early success.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in BPO/Call Center sales training and/or sales management, with a successful track record in a sales environment.
Strong knowledge of sales methodologies, customer engagement strategies, and CRM systems.
Excellent presentation, communication, and coaching skills.
Ability to design and implement training programs that address diverse learning styles and skill levels.
Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and familiar with virtual training platforms (e.g., Zoom, MS Teams).
Analytical skills for assessing training needs and evaluating training effectiveness.
Proven ability to inspire and motivate teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Exceptional communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
