How You Spend Your Eight Hours
Healthcare and Medical Duties
Provide first aid, emergency care, and treatment for illnesses and injuries at the office
Conduct regular health checks and screenings (e.g., blood pressure and glucose levels)
Develop and implement wellness programs to promote healthier employee lifestyles
Provide health education and counseling for employees on various health topics, including nutrition, exercise, and mental health
Maintain confidential medical records of employees and ensure compliance with relevant health regulations
Collaborate with the Safety Officer to ensure a safe working environment, conduct workplace inspections, and identify potential health hazards
Facilitate enrollment and disenrollment processes for new and departing employees and help employees understand and use their HMO benefits
Assist employees in processing SSS sickness, maternity, and Magna Carta claims and stay updated on changes in government statutory health benefits and communicate these to employees
Ensure timely submission of required documents to government agencies
Administrative Duties
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of medical supplies, medications, and equipment
Prepare and submit regular reports on health and safety metrics, incidents, and compliance status to management
Manage inventory of medical supplies and ensure the infirmary is well-stocked and equipped
Coordinate appointments for employee health screenings, vaccinations, and follow-up visits with healthcare providers
Assist in managing the budget for health and wellness programs, ensuring cost-effective use of resources
What You Must Possess
Qualifications
Registered Nurse (a must)
Familiarity with OSH compliance (experience as a Safety Officer is a plus)
Excellent organizational, record-keeping, and time-management skills
Excellent interpersonal communication skills to effectively interact with employees and management
Ability to handle health-related issues and workplace conflicts calmly and efficiently
Strict adherence to confidentiality and ethical standards in handling employee health information
At least one year of experience in the mentioned duties (BPO experience is a plus)
Willingness to report on-site (Harton and Bacoor offices)
Certifications
BOSH/OSH
