Receives and records invoices and arranges payment;- Prepares and sends invoices to debtors;
Prepares regular reports and summaries of accounting activities;
- Verifies recorded transactions and report irregularities to management; and
Prepares reconciliations of accounts.
A successful Bookkeeper needs certain qualifications and skills to do the job well. They should have:
- Attention to detail and accuracy
Able to multi-task, prioritize, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to communicate complex data clearly
Excellent data entry skills- Great intrapersonal and customer service skills
Familiarity with a wide range of financial transaction including Accounts Payable and Accounts Payable
