As a Bookkeeper, you'll be responsible for managing key financial operations, including payroll functions, general ledger balancing, and account reconciliations. You'll handle accounts payable and receivable processes, prepare comprehensive financial reports, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. This role demands precision, adherence to accounting policies, and a strong commitment to keeping financial records accurate and up-to-date.

• Perform payroll functions accurately and on time, and manage payroll tax submissions
  
• Reconcile all accounts as needed to ensure accuracy
  
• Maintain and balance the general ledger meticulously
  
• Manage accounts payable, from review and coding to processing payments
  
• Handle accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, deposits, collections, and revenue recognition
  
• Compile financial reports through data collection, analysis, and summarization
  
• Ensure compliance by applying accounting policies, rules, and regulations to all work
  
• Perform regular bank reconciliations to align financial records with bank statements
  
• Record and categorize all financial transactions efficiently
  

Requirements

Bring the Right Skills to Balance the Books

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in accounting and bookkeeping
  
• Strong understanding of GAAP
  
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
  
• Proven experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger management
  
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
