This firm is experiencing strong growth and is seeking to appoint a Tax and Business Services Accountant. You'll be part of a firm that offers a range of services including Tax Services, Financial Planning, Business Advisory, Asset Protection Advisory, Bookkeeping, R&D Tax Incentive & Government grants work.
What will you be doing
You'll be exposed to many different areas of compliance and advisory work. With your team you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of financial statements, preparation of tax returns (individual, partnership, company, trusts), FBT returns, preparation of Business Activity Statements, tax planning and dealing directly with the likes of the ATO/ state revenue offices/ ASIC.
What qualifications and experience do you need
- A minimum of 2-3 years recent, relevant experience in Public Practice and ambition for your career development
- Studying toward CA or CPA qualifications
- Knowledge of Sage software products is an advantage but not necessary
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
