Job Description

  • Back of House Shift Supervisor (_Kitchen Supervisor_) oversee kitchen operations, including food preparation, staff management, customer satisfaction, training, and inventory supervision.
  • Responsibilities:
Ensure food is prepared and served according to quality standards, delivering results in sales, profit, and service.
  • Multi-task and manage daily restaurant operations: inventory, food costing, scheduling and discipline, training, and development.
Implement and maintain kitchen checklists and control procedures.
  • Direct kitchen workflow, continuously checking food quality before dispatch.
Maintain BOH standards in quality, portion size, preparation, cooking procedures, taste, and presentation, ensuring all kitchen staff follow set standards.
  • Observe shift operating hours as scheduled or assigned by the Kitchen Manager.
Learn, follow, and enforce company policies, kitchen procedures, and sanitation guidelines.
  • Assist Kitchen Manager with management responsibilities, including ordering, scheduling, and corrective actions.
Inform the Manager or designated personnel of low inventory or spoilage issues.
  • Handle damaged and spoiled products per Company Policy and help control damaged goods levels.
Assist in food product preparation.
  • Comply with all Safety Policies and Procedures.
  • Qualifications:
Graduate of BS HRM or any equivalent course
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a Shift Supervisor or similar role in any Japanese casual dining restaurant
Knowledgeable in People Management, Shift Management and Inventory Management
  • Knowledgeable in using Microsoft Office application (Word, Excel, etc.)
Amenable to work within NCR (Rockwell, Greenbelt, Glorietta, BGC, Galleria), South area (Alabang, Pasay) , and East area ( Marikina, Antipolo)
