BOH Shift Supervisor handles day to day Kitchen operations, focused on providing consistent quality food product, compliance in food safety and inventory management, as well as occasional handling of guest complaint pertaining to food quality.
- Manage the daily operation of restaurant through; scheduling, stocks inventory, costing, people handling, including motivating and disciplining subordinates, training and development.
Implement the usage of kitchen checklist.- Implement and ensure that existing control procedures are being observed and done.
Directs kitchen workflow and continuously checks the quality of food prior dispatching
- Maintains the standards of the BOH at all times in terms of quality, portion size, preparation, cooking procedures, taste and presentations.
Ensure that all kitchen crews follow set standard- Keeps Manager or other designated personnel informed of low inventory conditions or spoilage problems.
Handles damaged and spoiled products according to Company Policy and assist in controlling the level of damaged goods.
- Complies fully with all Safety Policies and Procedures.
Graduate of BS HRM or any equivalent course
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Shift Supervisor or similar role in any Japanese casual dining restaurant
Knowledgeable in People Management, Shift Management and Inventory Management- Knowledgeable in using Microsoft Office application (Word, Excel, etc.)
Amenable to work within NCR (Rockwell, Greenbelt, Glorietta, BGC, Galleria), South area (Alabang, Pasay) , and East area ( Marikina, Antipolo)
