Position Overview: We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Billing and Collections Assistant to join our team in the Philippines. This role is essential in ensuring accurate billing processes and efficient collections management within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.
Billing Responsibilities:- Prepare and issue accurate invoices to clients in a timely manner.
Verify billing data to ensure completeness and accuracy.- Maintain billing records and update customer information as necessary.
Handle customer inquiries related to billing and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
Monitor accounts receivable to identify overdue payments.- Contact customers via phone, email, or mail to facilitate prompt payment of invoices.
Negotiate payment plans or terms with clients as needed to secure timely payments.
- Document all collection activities and maintain accurate records of communications.
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Assist in preparing financial reports related to billing and collections.
Provide regular updates on accounts receivable status and collections progress.
- Analyze billing and collections data to identify trends and improve processes.
Customer Relations:
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients to facilitate smooth billing and collection processes.
Address client inquiries and concerns regarding invoices and payments courteously and professionally.
Assist with other administrative tasks related to billing and collections operations.- Maintain organized filing systems for billing and collection documents.
Proven experience in billing, collections, or a related financial role.- Familiarity with billing software and accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, etc.).
Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Filipino (Tagalog).
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.- Knowledge of Philippine financial regulations and tax laws is advantageous.
- Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.- Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience in billing, collections, or financial administration.
Office-based position in Metro Manila or other major cities in the Philippines.- Regular working hours with occasional overtime during peak periods.
