JOB SUMMARYIn-charge of the Bidding and Awards Committee (BAC) process and will function as the BAC secretariat team
- DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the Procurement Senior Officer in team direction and activities
In-charge of the assigned process of all Bids process that are under the Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) Review & Endorsement
- Leads, organizes, plans, and executes BAC secretariat processes and aligns it with the requesting units.
Actively seeks for industry's best practices and market sensing strategies to provide the best practices for the program's requirements- Works closely with the operations unit to understand details of BAC requirements
Develops and maintains internal stakeholders
- Regularly communicates with management, employees, vendors, contractors, and suppliers to establish and maintain effective working relationships
Compares prices amongst various vendors in order to make sound purchasing decisions as part of the due diligence review- Works within a given budget to purchase goods and services for requesting unit
Ensures that products being received are delivered within agreed timeline and are of good quality
- Maintains and updates the procurement monitoring system and provide feedback on purchase orders to requesting unit
Maintains all documents, reviews and results of awards and contracts in a centralized database- Facilitates supplier meetings, site inspection and pre-bid conferences
Safekeep meeting records for future reference and audits
- Performs other related tasks as may be assigned by immediate supervisor and/or the management
- MINIMUM QUALIFICATION GUIDELINES
- Education : Bachelor's Degree of any courses related to Business Administration, Procurement and/or Supply Chain
Experience : At least two (1) year work experience in the field of procurement and/or supply chain.
- Other / Special Skills : Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate at all levels; proactive; process-oriented, structured, and organized; high ethical and compliance standards
