Scope of the job:
As a BI Analyst, you will design and develop data analytics, data models, data sources, and key metrics. Leveraging these data models, you will create detailed dashboards that streamline analysis and expedite decision-making processes across the organization.
A taste of what you will be doing:
- Conducting a comprehensive analysis of internal data sources to extract meaningful insights and trends.
- Develop and maintain dashboards or reports to track and visualize key platform metrics, including user activity, conversion rates, and financial performance.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in the data to provide recommendations for improving platform efficiency, user experience, and monetization.
- Monitor and analyse business performance metrics, identifying areas of improvement and opportunities for growth.
- Drawing conclusions and making recommendations to support strategy and KPI delivery.
- Creating high-impact, visually appealing dashboards to elevate data.
- Translating our business requirements into technical requirements to develop KPI, metrics and dashboards with our data engineering team.
- Creating and monitoring key performance metrics against set goals, primarily revenue and user activity; forecasting and pointing out low performance metrics to the appropriate stakeholders
- Using different analytical techniques to assess the impact on business KPIs if changes occur in products and markets (Impact Assessment BI Analysis)
- Collaborating with our data engineering team to prepare data models in BigQuery to feed our data applications.
Who you are and what you need to succeed:
- 2+ years experience in a similar role.
- BSc or Master's degree in quantitative areas, such as Statistics, Maths, Economics or Engineering.
- Strong SQL, Python and Excel skills.
- Experience in using data visualisation tools (ex. PowerBI, Google Looker Studio, Tableau, Qlik, etc).
- Ability to use Google search console, Google Analytics GA4 and BigQuery.
- Highly analytical mind and problem-solving skills to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Interest and experience in business analysis.
- Passion for data and analytics, a willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
- Familiarity with marketing.
- Positive attitude.
