- Project Management Experience:
- 5+ yearsof experience in managing renewable energy projects, with at least23 yearsfocusing on BESS or solar power plants.
- Technical Experience:
- Hands-on experience withBattery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), including lithium-ion battery technologies, hybrid inverters, and energy management systems (EMS).
- Familiarity with solar photovoltaic (PV) systems and their integration with BESS.
Technical Skills:
- BESS Knowledge:
- Expertise in BESS design, installation, operation, and maintenance.
- Familiarity with energy storage technologies, battery cycling, and degradation.
- System Integration:
- Knowledge of solar and BESS integration, including inverter configurations, grid compliance, and interconnection standards.
- Electrical and Control Systems:
- Understanding of electrical systems, switchgear, protection schemes, and control systems.
- Familiarity with SCADA systems for monitoring and controlling plant performance.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Knowledge of Philippine energy regulations and safety standards related to solar and BESS installations.
Soft Skills:
- Leadership and Team Management:
- Ability to lead a multidisciplinary team, including engineers, technicians, and contractors.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with stakeholders, vendors, and clients.
- Problem-Solving and Decision-Making:
- Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot operational issues and implement solutions efficiently.
- Project Management:
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project) and methodologies.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
Certifications (Preferred):
- Project Management Certifications:
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent.
- Battery Technology and Safety Certifications:
- Specialized training or certifications in BESS systems and energy storage.
- Safety Certifications:
- Occupational safety and health certifications (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH).

- Willingness to travelor be stationed at Tarlac Power Plant
- Willing to be on a project based term.
- Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) compliance.
