Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and equipment.
- Prepare ingredients to use in mixing and garnishing (washing, chopping, and peeling vegetables, defrosting, etc.); Ensures ingredients are in good quality.
Observes and follows the standard recipes and mixing procedures.- Ensures great taste by (hygienically) tasting the item before it is served.
Ensure great presentation by garnishing the cocktail before it is served.
- Assess customers needs, preferences, dietary restrictions etc.
Make suggestions based on customer tastes and preferences- Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in your working area (Apply CLAYGO and HACCP Procedures).
Complete closing checklist: Return all (cleaned) equipment to proper locations, ensure all ingredients and other items are stored properly.
- Diligently fill out control forms (Inventory, Production, Spoilage, Wastage, Breakage, Requisition, Receiving, etc).
Monitor stocks and make requisitions when there are shortages.- Enthusiastically explain and describe dishes / drinks to guests when needed.
Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
Other duties that may arise from time to time and may be assigned to the employee.
