Job Title: Barista/Server Prepare beverages, including coffee and alcoholic beverages, with expertise in latte art.
- Train new staff members in barista skills and ensure adherence to product standards.
Handle cashier duties efficiently and accurately, with previous experience preferred.- Maintain cleanliness and organization in work and dining areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Communicate directly with the manager as their assistant during lean hours or in certain cases.
- Foster positive customer relationships by providing excellent service and ensuring customer needs are met.
Demonstrate leadership qualities and assist in team management, with potential for promotion to Store-in-Charge.- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations and high-quality service.
Adhere to a fixed schedule and maintain product standards consistently.
- Utilize professional knowledge in maintaining coffee equipment and implementing correct coffee-making processes, including storing beans, preparing for opening, and closing shifts.
Maintain good customer relations with a polite, engaging personality and ensure customer satisfaction.- Display flexibility, ability to work under pressure, and maintain good relationships with coworkers.
Be open to feedback, willing to learn, and demonstrate problem-solving skills, particularly in POS and cashier handling.
- Ensure proper serving of food and drinks according to established standards.
Communicate effectively with superiors, report problems as needed, and suggest improvements for overall operations.- Exceptional listening and communication skills.
Ability to walk, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Lean and restock work and dining areas, empty trash, and sanitize equipment and utensils.
Take inventory and replenish items in display cases, at tables, or behind the counter.
Previous experience in cashier and team leader roles preferred.- Strong barista skills with expertise in latte art.
Ability to train new staff members and maintain product standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with the manager as their assistant.
High school diploma or equivalent.- Availability to work around peak hours, including nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
