Job Title: Barista

Reports to: Restaurant Manager/ Operations Manager

Work Schedule: Shifting Schedule

Work Location: KOPI KENANGAN - SM CITY GRAND CENTRAL

This role requires crafting and serving high-quality beverages and providing excellent customer service.

• Prepare a variety of beverages, especially coffees and specialty drinks, following Kopi Kenangan recipes and quality standards.

Greet and assist customers in a friendly, confident, and efficient manner. Answer customers questions about menu items and offer recommendations. Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including equipment and serving areas. Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including proper food handling and sanitation.

Work quickly and accurately during busy periods to keep up with customer orders. Handle multiple tasks, such as taking orders, preparing drinks, and handling cash or card transactions.

• Stay informed about Kopi Kenangan's menu offerings, including seasonal items and promotions. Make suggestions and upsell additional items when appropriate.

• About You

High school diploma or equivalent.

• At least 6 months experience as a barista is REQUIRED; additional training may be provided.

With experience with hot and cold drinks preparations, including latte art is a plus.

• Knowledge on how to operate coffee machines/equipments and with knowledge on beverages sanitary procedures is also a plus.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations calmly.

• Attention to detail for beverage preparation and presentation.

Basic math skills for handling cash and making change.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
