You Will Be Responsible For
- Greet customers as they enter
- Give customers drink menus and answer their questions regarding ingredients
- Prepare beverages following recipes
- Serve beverages and prepared food, like cookies, pastries, cakes
- Receive and process payments
- Keep the shop clean
- Inventory check
- Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
- Comply with health and safety regulations
- Communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items
Skills
- Previous work 1 year experience as a Barista or Waiter/Waitress for coffeeshop (required to do latte art)
- Hands-on experience with brewing equipment (advantage if can do pour over coffee)
- Knowledge of sanitation regulations
- Ability to gauge customers preferences
- Excellent communication skills
High school diploma; relevant training is a plus
