Job Responsibilities
Responsible for producing a variety of baked goods to meet the needs of our retail locations. You will follow recipes and guidelines to prepare high-quality baked items, including bread, pastries, and desserts. Your duties will include measuring ingredients, mixing dough, shaping and decorating products, baking in ovens, and ensuring proper storage and rotation of baked goods. Additionally, you will maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the bakery area and assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a baker, preferably in a commercial or commissary setting.
Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.- Ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently produce high-quality baked goods.
Attention to detail and precision in measuring ingredients and shaping products.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet production schedules.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.- Certification or training in baking or pastry arts is a plus.
