- Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare, operate and manage variety of baked goods.
- Monitor and order ingredients, supplies and equipment
Ensure the bakery section adheres to health and safety regulations.- Manage needed supplies and inventory levels.
Assess the quality of raw materials before baking.
- Ensure the proper storage of baking utensils.
Develop new seasonal recipes and menus and keep up with the latest trends
High school diploma or certificate in culinary arts, baking, or relevant field.- Working experience within the food industry as a baker, or relevant role is a plus.
Creativity to design new and unique menu items to attract customers
- Knowledge of how baking ingredients work together and how they can be used in creative ways
Capable of working in a fast-paced, production environment.
