Job Description
- Builds and maintains backend server-side applications
Enhances / optimizes existing applications.- Works closely with Frontend and Embedded Engineers.
Job Qualifications:
- Excellent understanding of client-server API communication (REST)
Working experience in Python, MySQL, Nginx, Flask, & Communication Protocols (HTTP(S),FTP,SFTP etc.)
- Experience with server-side document creation eg. PDF, Excel
Familiarity with Websockets.- Knows how to build database schemas that factors in scalability.
Familiarity with AWS (RDS, serverless, etc)
- Practices good software engineering processes and writing clean code
Experience with source control (e.g. Git)- 2 - 3 years of work experience in the relevant field.
Good to have:
- Experience with working with legacy software.
Experience deploying python code in Linux and Windows.
- Experience in working with a team.
Familiarity with payment gateways or external API integrations
