Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Developer with expertise in PHP Laravel and Python. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing robust backend systems, optimizing performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will play a key role in our development team, contributing to the design and architecture of our applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using PHP Laravel and Python.
Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Implement and maintain APIs and web services for seamless data communication.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications for improved performance.
Ensure the security and integrity of applications and data.
Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers.
Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5-8 years of experience in backend development, specifically with PHP Laravel and Python.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
Proficient in database design and management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar).
Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.) is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS).
Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
Knowledge of testing frameworks and methodologies.
