Automation Supervisor

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design, Develop and Enhancement

Conceptualize, design and improve electro-mechanical systems and mechatronic devices to meet specified requirements and standards

• Automation System Creation

Develop automated systems and design the accompanying software for controlling them, ensuring efficiency and reliability

• Research and Documentation

Conduct thorough research, document findings, present reports at meetings, providing insights and recommendations for further action

• Design Document Creation

Generate comprehensive design documents for mechanical components and final products; incorporating specifications and regulatory requirements

• Quality Improvement

Identify weakness in production processes or finished products, proposing and implementing solutions to enhance quality, efficiency and reliability

• Problem Solving

Analyze problems or client briefs, developing innovative solutions that address their needs and constraints effectively

• Material and Tool Selection

Select appropriate tools and materials for manufacturing processes, considering factors such as cost, durability and compatibility

• Team Support

Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of junior engineers or apprentices, fostering their professional development within the team

• Continuing Education

Stay abreast of advancements in the field by attending workshops, training sessions, and conferences, and actively engage in networking opportunities

Job Qualifications:

• At least 2-3 years on Mechatronics related filed
• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering or related field; Completion of an apprenticeship or additional relevant course is advantageous
• Proficiency in mathematics, analytical reasoning, and creative problem solving
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, leveraging diverse perspective to achieve common goals
• Self motivated and proactive approach to engineering challenges, demonstrating a genuine passion for the field and a drive for continuous improvement
