Job Responsibilities:
-To develop applications on Industrial Automation Platform and make it work with Cantier MES IioT functionalities.
- Responsible for working in multiple automation projects (Domestic and Global) rollout.
- Development of PLC Programming, Technical Drawing, and other artifacts
- Creating architecture to connect with PLC, Scada, OPC Layers and other third-party system with Cantier MES
- Auditing Customer Equipment and lines.
- Developing applications in Ignition Platform such as RMS, STRIP Map, Lot Movement, OEE, etc.
- Travel to customer location for requirements gathering and Troubleshoot customer concerns.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
At least 3 years work experience as Factory Automations Engineer.- Proficiency in Ignition platform setup and configuration.
Strong scripting skills in Python for Ignition automation tasks.
- Familiarity with different types of PLCs.
Knowledge of industrial protocols including Modbus TCP/RTU, OPC UA, API, TCP/IP, Serial Communication, and other PLC drivers.- Familiarity with Kepware connectivity platform.
Experience in SCADA/HMI design using Ignition's Vision or Perspective modules.
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug Ignition projects effectively.
Familiarity with SQL databases and SQL Bridge module in Ignition is preferred.- Understanding of security best practices in Ignition projects.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to adapt and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.- Experience in MES applications and .NET development is a plus.
