Job Overview : AutoCAD Operator is responsible for providing support to project engineers by creating and modifying interconnecting isometric piping layout drawings with BOM and as-built plans using 2D or 3D software.
- Qualifications and Skills:
Education
o Bachelor's degree or diploma course in Technical Drafting and AutoCAD or any related course.
o Previous experience in technical drafting or AutoCAD drawing, preferably with 1 to 2 years of work experience.
o Newly graduate may be considered provided with above average scholastic record.
o Proficient in computer-aided design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks for creating 2D and 3D models.
o Knowledge of basic engineering principles and concepts.
o Knowledge in free-hand drawing.
o Ability to analyze design problems, troubleshoot technical issues, and propose effective solutions.
o Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy and precision in CAD drawings, including dimensions, annotations, and symbols.
o Ability to visualized drawing plans.
o Effective communication skills to collaborate with designers and other team members. The ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely is crucial.
o Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively to meet deadlines.
