JOB SUMMARY:Spot Repair Expert and emergency line and wash over. Painting in a professional paint booth all daily units to pre-accident quality condition through effective painting diagnosis and repair planning with Job Controller and painting team with target volumes and time completion standards. Follow paint & company system process, manage and train the paint team, attain target daily completion and performance grading, perform quality check of team before painting and releasing unit.
High quality spray application of primers, sealers, basecoats and clearcoats (Spray finish Quality) of Cromax paint system.
Know how to utilize spray guns, sanding blocks, dry sander, polisher, required safety gear, etc. in order to complete quality work.
Work closely as a team with Prep Staff, Tinsmith, R&R and Job Controllers.
Repair plan and diagnosis with Job Controller and team to reduce repair area, improve quality and speed, re-check documents for complete repair are made per RO.
Spraying approximately 6 (Fully Prepped) RO's per day (2 Fasias, 1 - six panel jobs, 3 - Two to three panel jobs)
Invisible base coat color blending Application of 2 and 3 stage colors Mazda premium colors.
Cost materials management, mixing blending color, spray test color matching, gun setting to get correct color first time.
Ensure correct masking, no over spray, reduce unnecessary additional cleaning by keeping client vehicles clean.
Complete QC process and sheet for every vehicle as applicable.
Manage status of units, report immediately change of vehicle status. Reduce to minimal paint deficiencies and reworks.
Maintain clean and orderly work areas, proper use and maintenance of equipment & booth.
