Job Description
We're looking for a Payroll Manager to join our team at MBPS. In this role, you are expected to lead our Asia payroll teams with a primary focus on audit, compliance, and regulatory tasks. You will play a crucial role in ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations, and internal policies, as well as managing and facilitating communication with auditors, government agencies, and third-party entities. This role will involve collaborating with a global team, potentially requiring availability for night calls to accommodate different time zones.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure strict adherence to all relevant payroll regulations, and internal policies across Asia, and lead efforts to continuously monitor and update compliance practices
- Develop and implement controls and procedures to mitigate payroll compliance risks and maintain accurate records
- Prepare and analyze payroll reports with a focus on compliance and regulatory requirements, and provide insights and recommendations to senior management
Qualifications
- At least three (3) to five (5) years of experience in payroll, preferably with a background in audit, compliance, and regulatory tasks
- Emerging leaders are welcome - candidates without payroll experience, but with a strong foundation and training in audit, compliance, and financial regulation are welcome to apply
- Strong background in project management introducing controls for compliance and facilitating of audits
- Good communicator, strong stakeholder management able to collaborate with partners across multiple geographies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Prior experience in SAP is a plus
- Previous experience in policy management or legislation would also be a plus
