Description
Leads multiple audit engagements, which include planning, executing, directing and completing financial audits. Responsible for providing guidance and expertise to Senior Auditors and professional staff.
Principal Responsibilities
- Highly involved in planning and performing financial audits using firm's audit methodology.
- Oversees the audit engagements progress and execution of planned procedures.
- Effectively apply knowledge in audit, accounting, and financial reporting standards and other regulatory requirements to the assigned jobs, specific to clients concerns and determine where they may impact the client.
- Apply knowledge of the firm's audit methodology to perform and document the result of audit work using the firm's audit tool.
- Identifies audit issues and escalates to the partners as necessary.
- Capable to lead/manage the audit team, reviewing their work, and providing guidance.
- Keep up ties with other engagement teams, track team progress against the plan, and push for performance when needed.
- Develops a framework of coaching and mentoring and improves team skills.
- Conducts training to staff both accounting and auditing standards.
- Create networks and long-term connections both inside and internationally to identify new business opportunities.
Education and Qualifications
- Must be a Certified Public Accountant.
- Minimum of five (5) years of external auditing experience obtained from a known auditing firm.
- Must be willing to travel and work both locally and abroad, if necessary.
- Willing to be assigned in Makati City
- Proven Audit and compliance experience from different sectors or industries
- Experienced in both local external audit and international external audit is an advantage.

- Demonstrated multi-tasking capability and success in meeting tight deadlines on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic working environment.
- Adaptable to multi-tasking environment and experienced in handling multiple engagements.
- Proficient in MS Office, other IT and software skills is an advantage.
- Ability to maintain high-level confidentiality and work ethics.
