Description

Leads multiple audit engagements, which include planning, executing, directing and completing financial audits. Responsible for providing guidance and expertise to Senior Auditors and professional staff.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Highly involved in planning and performing financial audits using firm's audit methodology.
  • Oversees the audit engagements progress and execution of planned procedures.
  • Effectively apply knowledge in audit, accounting, and financial reporting standards and other regulatory requirements to the assigned jobs, specific to clients concerns and determine where they may impact the client.
  • Apply knowledge of the firm's audit methodology to perform and document the result of audit work using the firm's audit tool.
  • Identifies audit issues and escalates to the partners as necessary.
  • Capable to lead/manage the audit team, reviewing their work, and providing guidance.
  • Keep up ties with other engagement teams, track team progress against the plan, and push for performance when needed.
  • Develops a framework of coaching and mentoring and improves team skills.
  • Conducts training to staff both accounting and auditing standards.
  • Create networks and long-term connections both inside and internationally to identify new business opportunities.

Education and Qualifications

  • Must be a Certified Public Accountant.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of external auditing experience obtained from a known auditing firm.
  • Must be willing to travel and work both locally and abroad, if necessary.
  • Willing to be assigned in Makati City
  • Proven Audit and compliance experience from different sectors or industries
  • Experienced in both local external audit and international external audit is an advantage.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, candidates, other stakeholders and with leadership skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to identify issues, formulate opinions, make conclusions and recommendations.
  • Demonstrated multi-tasking capability and success in meeting tight deadlines on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic working environment.
  • Adaptable to multi-tasking environment and experienced in handling multiple engagements.
  • Proficient in MS Office, other IT and software skills is an advantage.
  • Ability to maintain high-level confidentiality and work ethics.
