To provide independent and objective assurance on the management of risk throughout the organization. The Audit Head is responsible for organizing and overseeing internal audits in accordance with the monthly, quarterly and annual audit plan, and for supervising the entire Audit Division. The Audit Head will oversee the review process then make any necessary recommendations to change policies, implement new systems or even change employee roles and team structures. The Audit Manager will work directly with the Managing Directors
Develop an annual audit plan using input from the team and Management to identify priorities and resource requirements for the year.
- Schedule and assign audits to team members, ensuring effective and efficient use of resources.
Oversee and provide quality control for the department's audits, to ensure departmental mandate and business goals are met and that professional standards are maintained at all times.- Ensure completion of audit assignments to provide independent, objective assurance to Management
Contributes, as appropriate, in the year-end financial audit with the external auditor.
- Ensure final reports are issued ON TIME with all recommendations agreed and accepted by Management.

- Manage and oversee team performance through performance planning, coaching and performance appraisals.
- Hold direct reportees accountable for managing and developing their assignments to ensure the department's goals are achieved and management satisfied.
- Deal with performance issues, discipline as necessary and address poor standards, ensuring department targets and management satisfaction is not compromised.
- Manage the head count, requesting and deploying resources as required, to ensure the right mix of skills and strengths are being leveraged as effectively as possible.
- Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy, CPA;
With valid driver's license (will be issued a company car, with gas allowance)
- 5+ years of overall combined accounting, audit and finance experience
- Strong financial, accounting and managerial skills
- Strong ability to implement and monitor internal controls
- Creative reporting capability
- Good communicator, planner and organizer
- Effective project management skills
- Strategic finance and tax planning
- Ability to effectively set and meet workplace priorities with available resources.
- Able to demonstrate high levels of problem-solving skills.

- ADDITIONAL NOTES*
Working conditions: Primarily in an office environment. Will be expected to travel as needed to company subsidiaries and potential acquirees to conduct due diligence. Periodic weekend or evening work is expected.
