The Audit Associate is responsible for performing professional internal auditing.

Schedule: Monday - Friday (8:30 AM - 5:30 PM)Employment Type: Full-time, Direct Hire & Permanent

• Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Assists in identifying and evaluating the organization's risk areas and provides input to the development of the annual audit plan;

• Performs audit procedures, including identifying and defining issues, developing criteria, reviewing and analyzing evidence, and documenting client processes and procedures;

Represents internal audit on organizational project teams; and

• Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

• Other Skills / Competencies Required:

Knowledge of and skill in applying internal auditing and accounting principles and practices, and management principles and preferred business practices;

• Knowledge of management information systems terminology, concepts, and practices;

Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications;

• Proficient in effective verbal and written communications, including active listening skills and skill in presenting findings and recommendations; and

Ability to establish and maintain harmonious working relationships with co-workers, staff, and external contacts, and to work effectively in a professional team environment.

• QUALIFICATIONS:

A Bachelor's degree in Internal Auditing, Accountancy and any related field.

• Knowledge related to audit, system audit, fraud investigation and accounting is an advantage
