Audit Assistant Manager – Functional Audit (CPA)

OurAssistant Audit Manageris responsible for providing a reliable, independent, and objective assessment of the processes of the Company's functional departments, and business processes under an automated environment aiming to add value as an assurance and consulting provider through a systematic and disciplined approach in evaluating and improving the effectiveness of internal control, risk management, and governance process. The Assistant Audit Manager handles simple to complex audit/consulting engagements and assesses the Senior Manager in the planning, execution, engagement, closing, and management action plans monitoring of Internal Audit (IA) activities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identifies process risks and controls for each IA engagement to identify areas/processes to be covered.
• Prepares all planning documents to document the basis/purpose of audit for review of Senior Audit Manager.
• Develop a detailed work plan with timelines including engagement kick-off, fieldwork, management reviews, and exit meeting.
• Discusses, drafts, and communicates audit plan, the progress of audit, and audit result
• Applies appropriate audit procedures and data sampling analysis, including but not limited to conducting interviews, walkthroughs, flowcharts, and narratives
• Can utilize various sampling techniques using various business intelligence methodologies and CAATs/ACL.
• Recommend a reasonable/doable solution to resolve the risk/control gap
