RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze and interpret weekly scorecard data to track financial performance and identify trends.
  • Generate insightful reports for management review and decision-making purposes.
  • Update and maintain sales data accurately in Xero accounting software.
  • Ensure that sales transactions are recorded in accordance with accounting principles and company policies.
  • Reconcile bank transactions regularly to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues promptly.
  • Process accounts payable transactions every fortnight, including vendor payments and expense reimbursements.
  • Prepare and process payroll for employees on a fortnightly basis, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Prepare and compile end-of-month financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Analyze financial data to identify variances and trends, and provide explanations as needed.
  • Calculate and allocate profits based on the profit-first methodology to maximize financial stability and growth.
  • Assist in gathering and preparing data for quarterly financial reports and presentations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Calculate affiliate commissions accurately based on agreed-upon terms and performance metrics.
  • Liaise with affiliate partners to address any inquiries or discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with taxation regulations and deadlines
  • Other tasks as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • At least 4 years of experience in an Australian or US private company or accounting firm
  • Proficiency in Xero accounting software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Personal equipment (laptop or desktop computer)
  • Reliable, stable and high-speed internet
  • Work Environment: with secluded workstation to ensure a private and distraction free space
