RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze and interpret weekly scorecard data to track financial performance and identify trends.
- Generate insightful reports for management review and decision-making purposes.
- Update and maintain sales data accurately in Xero accounting software.
- Ensure that sales transactions are recorded in accordance with accounting principles and company policies.
- Reconcile bank transactions regularly to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues promptly.
- Process accounts payable transactions every fortnight, including vendor payments and expense reimbursements.
- Prepare and process payroll for employees on a fortnightly basis, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
- Prepare and compile end-of-month financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Analyze financial data to identify variances and trends, and provide explanations as needed.
- Calculate and allocate profits based on the profit-first methodology to maximize financial stability and growth.
- Assist in gathering and preparing data for quarterly financial reports and presentations.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Calculate affiliate commissions accurately based on agreed-upon terms and performance metrics.
- Liaise with affiliate partners to address any inquiries or discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with taxation regulations and deadlines
- Other tasks as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- At least 4 years of experience in an Australian or US private company or accounting firm
- Proficiency in Xero accounting software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
