About The Client (AU)
Located at Erina, we are specialist family and divorce lawyers dedicated to assisting families and couples going through separation and divorce from across the Central Coast. We help separating and divorcing couples from all over the Central Coast including Erina, Gosford, Wamberal, Avoca Beach, Forresters Beach, Green Point, Kincumber, The Entrance, Wyoming, Narara, Lisarow, Niagara Park, Lisarow, Woy Woy, Empire Bay, Wyong, Kanwal, Toukley, San Remo, Blue Haven, Budgewoi and your suburb.
Document Preparation
- Type up documents and prepare legal documents/letters for review and approval.
- Draft and proofread various legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, affidavits, and correspondence.
Client Service Support:
- Assist clients by providing information and updates on their cases.
Meeting and Note-taking:
- Drafting affidavits (witness statements)
- Open new client files and prepare necessary documents based on meeting notes.
Administrative Support:
- Assist with daily administrative tasks, including filing, organizing documents, and maintaining case files.
Case Management:
- Assist in managing case files, tracking deadlines, and ensuring timely filing of documents.
- Liaise with court personnel and other legal professionals as needed.
Billing and Invoicing:
- Assist with the preparation and tracking of client invoices.
- Handle billing inquiries and assist in resolving discrepancies.
Other Duties:
- Assist with special projects and tasks as they arise.
- Stay updated with changes in legal procedures and terminology.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field.
- Experience using LEAP or any practice management software is highly desired
- Previous experience in a legal or administrative role is preferred
- AU Family Law experience (highly advantageous)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Excel) and legal research tools.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday (7AM-4PM; Manila Time)
Work Setup (WFH)
- Permanent Homebased
- Equipment will be provided by Outsourced
- Candidates are required to have a stable/reliable internet connection at home with at least 20MBPS for BOTH download and upload speed.
