AU Intermediate Accountant

  • Location: Clark Pampanga
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday from 7AM - 4PM
  • Work Arrangement: ONSITE

We deal with all facets of taxation, accounting, superannuation, business Services, Consulting, Wealth Creation, small business restructuring, GST, Business Setup, self-managed super funds, ASIC and ATO compliances.   • Detailed Job Description:
  • Accounts Payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping in Xero and MYOB
  • Preparing tax returns and financial statements for individual, company, trust, partnership, sole traders
  • Reconciliation of bank accounts, loans, credit card and other general ledger accounts in xero and MYOB essentials.
  • Payroll processing including superannuation for business clients
  • Preparation of business activity statement(BAS), instalment activity statement(IAS).
  • creating Journal Entries in xero, MYOB
  • Ability to assist clients with bookkeeping related queries by email and by phone
  • Ability to lodge BAS, IAS from ato portal. Preparing payment plan, ATO payslip, update client details in ato portal, analysing activity account, income tax account reports of clients ato portal report
  • General office administration duties including filing, document preparation
  • Correspondence with clients regarding their bookkeeping, BAS, IAS preparation, queries regarding those jobs
  • Contacting ATO regarding clients debt, overdue tax returns and BAS, payment arrangement, penalties and interest remission
  • Answering and attending to clients queries via the telephone, email
  • Financial data entry in excel spreadsheet for clients
  • Updating daily timesheet and workflows
  • Preparing engagement letter, ethical letter, service agreement for clients


  • You must also have the ability to:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Has ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Proven bookkeeping and tax preparation experience handling multiple clients
  • Bachelor degree in accounting or similar degree
  • Have an ambition to develop career in accounting and finance


  • Minimum Requirement:
  • At least one year (full time) experience with an Australian public practice accounting firm
  • Comprehensive knowledge of GST, PAYG withholding tax, PAYG instalment tax, superannuation, salary and wages, bonus, single touch payroll, fuel tax credit
  • Experience in preparing business activity statement(BAS), instalment activity statement(IAS) according Australian taxation law
  • Experience in preparing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, bookkeeping, superannuation processing in client accounting software
  • Experience using Xero, MYOB essentials(online), ATO tax agent portal, Microsoft office
  • Experience with using tax accounting software like Handisoft, Xero practice manager, MYOB accountant office, Reckon elite or similar
  • Experience preparing tax returns and financial statements for company, trust, partnership, sole traders
