Your Role:

The GSC General Finance Associate is responsible in processing and recording of expenses across the business in a timely, accurate and efficient manner.
  • Accounts Payable:
    • Process invoices in Concur and follow relevant approval processes
    • Validate and process approved invoices into Great Plains via SmartConnect
    • Follow up on invoices awaiting approval
    • Assist with AP queries
    • Reconcile Creditor Statement
    • Maintain Creditor's Master File
    • Request and follow up on outstanding invoices from creditors
    • Assist with AP fortnightly Pay Run
    • Manage the Business support folder in the global mailbox
    • Assist with credit card reconciliations in Concur including transaction download and GL coding
    • Process Staff Expenditure Reimbursement
    • Answer queries regarding expense platform including creating accounts for new starters
  • Accounts Receivable:
    • Verify that all invoicing information is complete, accurate, and complies with company policies and contractual agreements.
    • Collaborate with relevant departments to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to invoicing.
    • Monitor accounts receivable aging reports to identify overdue accounts and outstanding balances.
    • Contact customers proactively via email, phone, or mail to follow up on overdue payments and negotiate payment arrangements if necessary.
    • Maintain clear and concise records of all communications and interactions with customers regarding their accounts.
    • Maintain well-organized records of invoices, payments, and customer interactions.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and accounting standards.
    • Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable aging, collections progress, and cash flow projections.
  • Analyse trends and patterns in payment behaviour to identify potential issues and opportunities for improvement.
  • Address customer inquiries, disputes, and discrepancies related to invoices and payments.
  • Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to resolve any issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • HRIMS Data
  • Liaise with the People & Culture to ensure accuracy of employee records
  • Contribute to a team that works together to achieve excellent results
  • Assist on other tasks as directed by the Payroll Manager
What You Need:
  • 3+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Payroll
  • Degree in Accounting/Managerial Accounting or related field
  • AU Accounting experience
  • Amenable to work in MOA in a hybrid setup
